Prayer of the Faithful

Note: the Prayer of the Faithful takes place after the readings and homily. Below are two examples that can be modified, as necessary. Usually, a member of the family leads the Prayer of the Faithful.

Prayer of the Faithful –

The priest begins (with these or similar words): God, the almighty Father, raised Christ his Son from the dead; with confidence we ask him to save all his people, living and dead. Our response is: “Lord, hear our prayer.”

Reader (usually a Family Member)
